At ChessShop.org, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please review our refunds and returns policy below for online and in-store orders.


🛍️ 1. Unwanted Items Purchased Online

If you wish to return an unwanted item, please contact us via email at sales@chessshop.org within seven (7) days of receiving your order.

To process your return:

  • Include your name and invoice number in all communications.

  • We will arrange a courier collection from your address.

  • Items must be unused, in their original condition and packaging, and ready for courier collection.

  • Please ensure your parcel is securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.

    • ⚠️ If an item is damaged due to insufficient packaging, we cannot issue a refund.

Refund process:

  • A refund will be processed once the returned item is received, inspected, and confirmed to be in its original condition.

  • Courier costs for the return will be deducted from your refund.

If you prefer to use your own courier service, please contact us to obtain the return address. Once booked, please email us the waybill number for tracking purposes.

🧩 Please note: Customised or custom-made items are non-refundable.


🏬 2. Unwanted Items Purchased In-Store

If you purchased an item in-store and later find it unsuitable, you may return it within seven (7) working days of purchase.

You may choose to:

  • Receive a full refund, or

  • Exchange the item for store credit to use on other products.

Returned items must be unused and in their original condition and packaging.
🧩 Customised or custom-made items are not eligible for refunds.


📦 3. Items Damaged in Transit

If your order arrives damaged, we will replace the affected item(s) at no cost to you.

Please notify us within three (3) working days of receiving your order and provide:

  • A description of the issue and damage sustained.

  • Clear photos of the damaged item(s) and packaging.

  • Your name and invoice number in the email or WhatsApp message.

We will arrange courier collection of the damaged item(s). Items must be:

  • Unused and in original condition and packaging.

  • Securely packaged to avoid further damage during transit.

Once we receive and inspect the item(s), a replacement will be shipped to you at no charge.


🔄 4. Incorrect Items Received

Our team takes great care to ensure your order is correct, but if you receive an incorrect item, please contact us within two (2) working days of receiving your parcel.

Contact us via:

Include your name and invoice number in all communications.

We will:

  • Arrange for a courier collection of the incorrect item(s) at no cost to you.

  • Cover all courier costs related to correcting the error.

  • Dispatch the correct replacement item(s) once we receive the original item(s) in unused, original condition.
